Concentrates Testing

How Accurate are the Results?

ACS guarantees precise results when testing concentrates by utilizing proven methods known for accuracy. We use Ultra High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) with Ultraviolet Detectors to safely test samples at room temperature without heat. This method provides consistent and reliable results, and we have the awards to prove it. For the last two years, we’ve received awards for excellence in potency testing from the Emerald Test, a nationwide Inter-Laboratory Comparison test.

Concentrates Contaminant Testing

ACS tests cannabis concentrates for dangerous residual solvents, pesticides, molds, mildew, heavy metals and mycotoxins. In order to validate safety, each lab result is labeled as pass or fail, making it easy to know if a product has reached the maximum allowed limit for each toxin.

Am I Required by Law to Test for All of the Above Contaminants?

Guidelines for lab testing vary from state to state, but quality testing is no longer an option for companies that wish to compete in today’s increasingly regulated and consumer-driven marketplace.

The state of Florida requires both medical marijuana and hemp products to be tested for safety with a certified laboratory like ACS. But when it comes to medical marijuana, additional testing is required before products like THC concentrates can be dispensed to patients.

Safety & Compliance Testing

With each compliance testing panel, ACS provides a Certificate of Analysis (COA) that documents the presence of toxins as they compare to the maximum levels allowed for safe human consumption. But when it comes to concentrates, we know consumers want to know more about the quality of the product:

Beyond Compliance

At ACS Laboratory, we test concentrates including wax, rosin, live resin, shatter, batter and dabs to reveal the compounds that create their flavor, fragrance, therapeutic profile and potential psychoactive effects. Beyond THC & CBD, we can determine the potency of up to 15 additional cannabinoids like CBDA, CBN, CBG and THCA. Additionally, we recommend clients select R&D panels specific to their product type.

ACS Advanced Testing Services

ACS Laboratory is a leading provider of hemp and cannabis testing, panels and methodologies. Along with reliable results, customers receive the print and digital Certificate of Analysis (COA) with a QR code as proof that the results are final and accurate.
