Kratom, or Mitragyna speciosa, is a tropical tree in the Rubiaceae (coffee) family native to Southeast Asia. This botanical gem has been a longstanding part of indigenous cultures' traditions, but it has only recently garnered international recognition.
Types of Kratom Testing
The rigorous analysis also includes purity testing for contaminants like heavy metals, including manganese, pesticides, and residual solvents, guaranteeing safe products. Collaborating with renowned Kratom researcher Dr. Christopher McCurdy, ACS is exploring certified reference materials for additional alkaloids found in human plasma after Kratom ingestion. The program instills peace of mind in consumers, supporting an industry built on trust, quality, and transparency.

We Conduct
In-House Kratom Testing
With a state-of-the-art 20,000 square ft facility, we house all the necessary laboratory-grade instruments and chemicals for high-quality testing. Our arsenal includes cutting-edge techniques like high-performance liquid chromatography, clinical mass spectrometry, and ultra-violet spectroscopy with high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC/LCMS/HPLCUV), gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS), and inductively coupled plasma mass spectroscopy (ICP/MS).
Supported by our knowledgeable customer support teams, available at your convenience, we proudly offer a swift 3-5 day turnaround time for test results.
Kratom’s Classification Status
Kratom is not listed on the DEA’s Controlled Substances list, making it legal on a federal level. Some states have banned or restricted use. However, most states either support or regulate the industry for safety and quality reasons.
Florida recently became the 11th state in the U.S. to enact the Kratom Consumer Protection Act. With this legislation in place, lawmakers can preserve the industry while safeguarding consumers from potential risks associated with contaminated goods and underage use. These laws signal a notable change in public perception, paving the way for a more extensive investigation of Kratom's promising effects.
How Accurate Is Kratom Testing?
Potency testing for kratom’s eight principal alkaloids is highly accurate when using Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LCMS), as chemists can quantify the measurement to 1/10th of 1% and 1/10th of a milligram and in parts per billion.
